After earning my degree from the University of Central Missouri, I spent 17 years living and working in Kansas City, where I built my background in both visual storytelling and marketing support for growing teams. That experience shaped the way I approach photography today, not just as a creative service, but as a practical business tool that helps professionals connect, communicate, and build trust.
Through A. Dougherty Photography & Design, I work with entrepreneurs, corporate teams, and organizations to create modern headshots, branding imagery, and marketing visuals that feel polished, approachable, and aligned with how they want to be seen.
When I’m not behind the camera or designing a campaign, you can usually find me kayaking, planning my next trip, or enjoying time outdoors.
